cva 1851 navy?

I'm looking at a cva 1841 navy in a trade it looks pretty good how good was cva vs pietta. The trade is for 2 more guns for besides the cva just needing advice
 
Think 'Typo'-the-gremlin got you on the number...1851 is what you want. :wink: As for the gun, CVA's guns were usually Italian or Spanish, so the Navy may have been by Pietta anyway. All this depends on it's markings. Check it over and let us know, photos would be even better. Good luck.
 
I looked at the pic sorry i can't post my phone wont let me. i saw on the pic it has a color case hardened frame it looks pretty well taking care of. The guy wants a motorcycle i have that i have no need for it he has 2 rifle and 3 pistol after i send him picture of my bike he said 3 for them. so i can't make up my mind because he has a trapper flintlock. and a derringer so i have a hard time deciding thanks
