this might belong in the "gun Builders Bench section, so move it if it does.

got hold of an old(unbuilt)CVA Philadelphia Derringer kit, percussion the other day that was missing the lock. Where might I pick one up? Would CVA have one in stock even though they stopped producing kits?

thanks in advance

My thought was that Dixie might have the parts, and they list lockplate, hammer, sear, bridle, fly, and hammer screw for THEIR Lincoln derringer. That would get you going except for the mainspring and some screws. I built one of Dixie's derringer kits back in the 70s but don't remember the maker. Hope this helps....good luck. Emery

I had exactly the same issue:
Deer Creek Products
PO Box 246
6989 E. Michigan Rd
Waldron, IN 46182
765-525-6181 (phone)
765-525-9595 (fax)

Great people - kinda hard to get ahold of - just keep trying by phone.
