About ten years ago a friend of mine that shot blackpowder had a stroke and has been in a nursing home since. Viet Nam vet and a great guy. He gave me all of his muzzleloading stuff and this stock was included. He did not know what brand it is. I posted pictures and got input that is a CVA and probably a kit based on the inletting. There is about an 1/8th of an inch above the patchbox and the butt plate. The inlets are ok but the wood needs to be taken down to be flush with the brass. Probably birch or beech. Has the brass (some green tarnish) and the triggers. The triggers need to be taken out and cleaned/sanded as they are rusty and don't seem to function. Good winter project for a CVA guy. $60.00 I think is fair and you pay the shipping. Start a conversation with me if you are interested. Thanks.
