CVA Mt Pistol and refinished Investarms Hawkin

Just completed a CVA Mountain pistol from a ziplock bag of parts and new stock from CVA. Finish is acid based from vinegar and iron, with Tunq oil and Johnson's paste wax. The Hawken I have had for 17 years, got it from a friend have no idea how old it is. It has taken a few deer since I have had it, it is a .45 cap. Needed to be refinished since last time I did it (17 yrs ago) I used a Fruitwood stain and P****. Stripped it and refinished with the vinegar stain. :results:

I don't why but the image you attached was not there just a box with a red x in it. This happens to me sometimes, other times the images are there. Any idea why? Anyone? :huh:

Yep. Whatever server the original image is on is down, or he linked to an image on his own PC drive and not an Internet Service Provider (ISP) linked site. (Like Photobucket or Yahoo). Or, he removed the image from a linked site.

In this case I know where the image was, so I can only guess he toggled it to private, removed it or changed the description, or Photobucket is down at the moment.

Sorry guys I did rearrange the pictures on Photobbucket so the reference URL changed my goof. :sorry:
