I've recently acquired an unusual pistol. I believe it's a CVA Prospector "Bob Tingle". It's in petty rough shape, can't get the nipple out. It's soaking in Wd 40 for a few days. Any information would help. I plan on refurbishing it, shooting it, and decoraing my office with it, oh yah, and probably shooting it some more......thanks for any help.....

The prospector was a rare pistol for CVA. I have never seen one in person. They and the ASM made ones come up on the gun auctions every few weeks.

They are no where near a tingle. (Tingles currently bring $600 plus) And some of the Italian made jobs were available with smooth bore barrels. I have two Palmetto target pistols which look similar but are constructed differently.
