Hope someone can use this, I'm not sure of the maker but it is a cylinder for 1851 colt navy (I can read that on the box from under the inventory label). Nipples are metric 6 X 0.75 and to help ID the nipple overall length .554, cone length .319 and thread length .238. Condition is good overall with just a few spots of corrosion at bottom of cylinders. Nipples are all removable. Might be an FIE Colt reproduction. Inventory label marked CYLREB44. Asking $30 shipped. thanks for looking, check photos.

I have two Italian 1851 copies (one brass frame Pietta and one steel frame ASM) that are in .44 caliber and both are rebated. Every 1851 .44 copy I have seen is rebated. The .36 1851's are not rebated.

I did some internet looking and ASM 1851, 1860, and 1861 look similar to the one I have for sale, but I'm not sure.

It is says on the box the cylinder came in CYLREB44. It would appear that is a cylinder for a what they call a Reb Navy 44 caliber brass frame 1851. They are plain with no engraving. Pietta and Navy Arms makes the Reb .44 with a plain cylinder. I have a Pietta. The .44 1851 Navy cylinder will work on a 1860 Army.

Ahh, yes, the 51’s I have and have had are all 36’s. When I seen the navy designation I automatically thought of a 36
