This is a new patch knife / skinner made by yours truly. You can also use it to eat your back straps with.:)
Blade material is 5160, 15N20, and Ni200, and was forged by Alabama Damascus. I made the blade from a billet, not a pre-cut knife blank. This skinner is of my own design and is a very useful shape. This damascus holds an edge well, and is easy to sharpen. It is hollow ground and has a nice sharp edge.
The blade is about 3" cutting edge, and has file work for a good finger grip and style.
The handle is stabilized box elder burl, book matched, and features red liner and a mosaic pin (also made by myself).
The well fitted sheath is hand stitched, the pattern stampings and the deer track stamps were also made by "you know who". Key areas are double stitched for durability.
Asking $175, and I will ship insured to your door. Thank you for looking! Dan
