There's a fine carved figurehead that was on a clipper ship built in Mystic, Conn. in 1853. It's in the San Francisco Maritime Historical Park, SF, Cal. and probably would come up on line. It shows Davy in full gear holding a rifle, and appears to have been totally restored. Interesting fact; the Captain of the ship was so proud of the carving that he had it unshipped for the passage around the Horn and re-mounted for her entry into SF Bay.
