I am going to inlet the Davis doubleset-doublethrow on Cherry this week.
This is the first time that I will be installing the Davis version.
TOTW lists the proper location as the adjustment screw directly below the sear arm (centered).
I am planning to be able to have a decent trigger pull un-set if required (this is my new hunting rifle).
Should I center it? or have a rearward bias of the trigger assembly (the front trigger pivot closer to the sear)? And if there can be a bias, that will still fire reliably, how far can it be?
Model TR-DST-6 (TOTW)

Mine is centered under the sear arm as you stated and it works great set and unset

The Davis trigger is now installed in Cherry.
I did the failsafe "centered" mounting position. The trigger and set arms are about .020 below the sear arm in the Davis "Jim Bridger" percussion lock.
It works like a Swiss watch. You cannot possibly go wrong with a Davis trigger. I was impressed!
The single mode is super crisp and light, with no side to side slop, and when set, it pops instantly with zero vibration. Excellent trigger, without a doubt (I don't give praise lightly).
Thanks LHunter and Wick!- :)
