I love novelty targets like that! Lots of fun to shoot. Potatos, apples, eggs whatever, they makd great targets. I remember an event at a local club called the "John Bobbit" where we shot at....you guessed it, WEINERS! Only a total amputation scored. You can imagine some of the comments at that one.

i think those are called drop targets? they drop down when whatever attached is shot off. i think. we use to use something similar to that set up for long range shooting for a quick reference as to aiming and a hit. :imo:

The orange sticks are just that.
Orange wooden squares about 1x1x6" long they were part of the aggerate score.
We had
Strings
taters
baloons
A "V"
and 5 different items on a card.

I'll post a picture of that card later.

I showed thet picture to prove to my wifh that there are other uese for guns in the kitchen but she still says no ::

Yer wife has no understandin atol. Why, I know of folk what keeps a rifle gun and pistol gun both in the kichen. Keeps the varmits from gettin the vittals.  But, ifn she can cook---keep her!............BTW BPB........Nice shootin 'n nice picher takin.

Ok I took the pic of the exploding tater--gave my camera to a fella ya would have thought I might be in one of the pictures.
Here are two other targets.
targetshiltop.jpg

2 playing cards top right and lower left corners.
top left is a pop sickle stick
bottom right wooden biscuit for joining wood
center bout a 2" dot.

The "V" u had to put 3 shots into the "V" section

I use tomatoes! They explode nicely, and make instant tomatoe guckies! Zucchini, pumpkins, squashes are too soft and don't quite have the same "Galliger factor" Have not tried watermellons yet, although I did see one get hit with a small 1- 1/2" cannon once, very nice! Bits of red and green rained from the sky! Fun to eat afterwards!1 Just got to rinse the dirt, grass and leaves off first!
