Openning day of our muzzle loader season. I filled an anterless tag with a 70 yard shot on this small Doe. She ran just about 50 yards and dropped.

Well I was sittin on top my Swamp Rat kinda bumming cause of the lack of sign where I hunt. Just no food in my area. To my surprise this doe stepped out at 3:50 pm. Watched her for 5 minutes before I got a clear shot. The load was 90gr of FF and a Hornady .54 ball, .18 pillow tick bear greased patch. The pic shows the exit wound, she was slightly quartering away.

Thank you for the Pic and details. This will be my first year M/L hunting. Using a 50 Cal and roundballs. Good to see it can be done. Congrats!
