Hey All...the Possible Shop has a .45 cal flintlock made by a company called Deer Creek. Its a kit that looks similar to the Lyman GPR. Anyone have any experience with Deer Creek? Good Quality / Bad Quality? Otherwise?

Please let me know.

Thanks

Greg

The DeerCreek rifle is the old CVA Mountain rifle. Some say the barrels these days are not as good, but I can't comment on that. For a little over 200$, it is a nice gun, if the barrel is accurate.

i got the deer creek rifle 2 weeks ago the lock was a little work but they sent a naw spring and fixed that, barrel is babby butt smooth only shot 20 54s out of it to get sights on line but my other 3 deercreek made rifles have all been great, think this kind of a hawkin for 200 will be too. :front:
