Deer Tine Primer

A small flintlock priming horn I made from an antler tine and a brass line fitting. I usually prime from the horn, but this will be nice for ranges that don’t like that.

I like it. How many grains of 4f does it hold?
What size pipe threads are on that nipple? Looks like 1/4" pipe. Maybe 1/8".
I'm guessing that was a barbed fitting that you filed/sanded the barbs off of?
I have some of those that I never found a use for. I also have some small antlers. Hmmm....

I prime with 3f and it holds about 60 grains of that. It is a 1/4 pipe fitting, And you guessed right I chucked it into my drill press a filed off the barbs.

That was just figgin' ingenious. I'm totally stealing that Idea. 60 grains is a LOT of pan priming.
