SOLD Defarbed colt signature series 51 navy!

Here is another little defarb project I completed recently. The gun was stored poorly and had some finish problems and putts on the exterior so I picked it up to defarb it! Condition is as shown and the horrible Sam colt signature was removed from the back strap. Action is very nice on this one and the arbor is perfectly fit and is not short! This will make someone a great shooter it has the look! I’m asking 550 shipped PayPal F&F as usua, and as always if you have any questions or want more photos or videos of the action let me know!

Excellent defarb workmanship Mike & a great buy for history buffs who prefer firearms with authentic markings & appear to have some historical experience.
If I were not already well healed with the same Colt I would snap this bargain up !

That colt looks outstanding ! Was it much trouble for to remove the silver plating to look so worn off ?
