Do you take the nipples out of your guns?

Yes I do. To clean and oil them. Then I reinstall them again. Especially if I offer them for sale. Why do you ask? Anyway good luck with the sale of your gun. Nice bore pictures.

Good Evening, I'm very interested in the TC Renegade. I'm not sure if I am unable to send a PM due to being a new member on the forum. My Zip Code is 59937. I can mail a check or pressgang my son in law into using his Venmo account, whichever works best for you. Thanks very much.

At some point when I get some time I’m going to part it out on eBay.

Thanks

(Sigh)..... Another fine rifle disappears into the depths of Ebay. I already have a couple, but for those who don't, this would have been a good, solid hunting rifle. I don't blame Fastleo one bit for his decision, it's been here over a month with a very fair price on it. The last one I bought, last summer, was $350 + shipping and this one is in better shape. All things considered, $380 + shipping isn't a bad price. Nothing's cheap anymore folks. If I had the extra cash I'd have bought it back in November. OK, rant over........

Lots of good points you make in the above post, I don’t do well selling or buying muzzle loaders on this site for some reason. It seems that the custom guns sell better than the factory guns.(I’m a factory gun guy) I wonder why that is?

Fastleo, if you change your mind about parting this rifle out, I'll take it pending having my questions answered in a recent message I sent ya. Feel free to contact me through pm. Thanks.

Centershot,
You might want to reconsider your take on this. I already offered to pay the asking price for this rifle. No quibble at all. The seller said he decided to keep it. The add stays up. Now it's getting "parted out". Parting out a perfectly functional, discontinued ML with a great reputation seems, well...a bit... Charity constrains me. Strange diplomacy for the sport of muzzleloading. But I defend his right to eccentricity with my dying breath. Perhaps he can just melt it down for scrap so we don't have to consider its fate anymore. The rebar market needs a boost anyway.
