now don't forget to shorten the barrel retaining pin? it stick's out too long on either side. blend it in flush with the stock. you did a STELLER JOB on it. that was more than a butchered stock!
 
Nice save. Some of the inletting on these was not done right from the get go. That and the wood was not the best. We found one in the BP "pile" in the estate that was heavily modified to fit together and even a had "schnable" added. Will post if i can get to it.
