I live in the Detroit, MI area and I used to go to an F&I war event
Called "Rendezvous on the Rouge" when I was young. I enjoyed it. They have not had one for several years. Where have those reenactors gone? Are there other events in the Ohio/Michigan/northern Indiana area? I would like to go to other events and watch and eventually participate. There was another one held here 10 or so years ago called "the grand encampment" I think, but I haven't seen that one again either. I have most of my outfit put together except a pair of shoes (being a diabetic with plantar fasciitis makes this problematic).
I would like to go and observe and get some pointers.
