The 54cal Dickert, in the white, I got from Tip Curtis is finally done. The humidity has been terrible since I received the gun. Slowed the finishing a great deal.
I added a custom alcohol based stain that I use on my curly maple knife handles, followed by 3 hand rubbed thinned coats of clear Danish oil. The finish was 3 hand rubbed coats of thinned oil based spar varnish. Thanks for looking and all comments welcome.

Very well done. I like the color of the stock, and it sets off the lighter color of the barrel well.
