did "I had a fire" get his stuff?

About 2 months ago, in this forum, I chap posted under the heading "Had a fire". Told a sad story about losing all of his gear, and asked for donations...a few members answered and sympathized. I suspect they sent him stuff. I sent him my 2nd best horn and a little patch knife...never heard from him....did any of you send anything, and did he acknowledge? I don't want to think him unmannerly if he didn't get the stuff I sent...Hank

Name was Wes. He recieved his stuff and was delayed in sending a thanks. He advised he was busy with training. (Getting Tazed at work). I recieved this a couple of weeks ago.

Dear Forum,

My sincerest apologies for not replying in a timely manner. I have been running around like crazy at home and at work. Getting some joists and subflooring replaced, watching the kiddies and working odd hours. Thanks Hank, I did get the items you sent and I am sorry for not thanking you sooner. It was rude of me not to have replied. I have been caught up in my own little world and have not been on the 'puter much. Again, I am sorry!
