In the Thompson Center line up there are many names for them. I do not see a difference in them.

What is the difference between a Hawken, Renegade, Seneca, ect?

I am going to try and answer my own question here.

My guess is that the Renegade is a no freels no brass hardwear rifle.

My guess is the Hawken has a patch box and brass hardwear.

My guess is the Seneca is like the Hawkin such as it has a patch box and brass hardwear but it is a little smaller and only in .36cal and .45 cal.

Am I close?

I use to drive my college teachers nuts. I wanted them to tell me the answer and they wanted me to go find the answer.

I finally learner that college is not about learning stuff. Its about learning how to find the answer.

And it looks like you found the answer yourself - in less than 23 minutes after asking here.

I went over to gunbroker and flashed between the pictures really fast until I realized the Renegade has no brass and no patch box.

Computers are a wonderful thing.
Saved me from haveing to go to the library and look thru their books and then finding out they cant help me so I have to go to Barns and Noble and dig thru their books and then set and read all of them which I have problems doing because I am checking out the women who walk by. Probably would have taken me half a day and asking for at least 4 phonenumbers and only getting maybe only one. Dont even get me started on having to run by Sam's where I can get a Hot Dog and large Coke for only $1.50
