Have a question, I have an older DGW Tennessee made by Miroku, I have lost the set screw for the trigger. Does anybody know the thread size they used? Possibly were to find a replacement? Thanks!
I agree with evans. It may be metricTake it to a local hardware store and try different screw, they may even have a screw gauge , also they will cost less
Too slow to go through DGW for something so easy. Go to the hardware and try their machine screws, probably metric. If you can't find the size, just tap the treads a tad larger. No waiting, just get it fixed.Have a question, I have an older DGW Tennessee made by Miroku, I have lost the set screw for the trigger. Does anybody know the thread size they used? That's great info, thank you. I will try that out, interesting that the same thing happened to yours as well.I had the same problem with the same gun - Dixie Southern Mountain Rifle made by Miroku. Spoke with their gunsmith. Dixie does not carry those screws any more. He said the screw is metric and did not know the exact size/threads.
I went to my hardware store, bought (I think) a 3mm screw - might not be that exact size, but similar. They had no slotted metric nor short ones, so I bought a dozen. Found one that fit, and cut/filed a new one. They're quite easy to lose.
This, I can find 90% of the stuff I need at Ace Hardware in the little boxes.Take it to a local hardware store and try different screw, they may even have a screw gauge , also they will cost less
Forget that. They are totally unhelpful there.I would contact Dixie.
