I recently bought another flintlock that better suits my needs, so I'm offering this one up for sale.

I'll start with the negatives, of which there are few. There is what looks like a crack in the stock behind the barrel that I have pictured, but it's actually just a thin sliver of wood that's breaking off. I've glued it and it should hold. I have shot this rifle 20+ times since I have owned it and it has not worsened. The touchhole liner screw slot is a little buggered but the damage is just cosmetic. The threads of the liner itself are fine. That's really it. There is minor finish wear and handling marks but overall it's in really nice shape.

I did shorten the muzzle end of the stock by just about a half inch. I did this to keep water from getting under the stock during cleaning when it runs out of the muzzle. I wanted to avoid removing screws and driving out pins for every cleaning, so this mod allowed me to leave the barrel in the stock. A previous owner added a brass inlay with three initials over the grease hole.

This rifle is a great shooter. I mainly shot with 50 grains of Swiss FF, a .490 ball, and a .015 greased patch. It would hit at the POA at 50 yards. The lock is in great shape and with a good flint I never had an issue with sparking or ignition. The bore is excellent. I'm having a hard time getting a good picture, so you'll have to take my word that the bore is in beautiful shape. The double triggers work perfectly.

Approximate details:
Overall length: 57"
LoP: 14:"
Barrel: 41.5" long, 3/8" flats
Weight: 9 lbs unloaded

Asking $600 shipped and insured. Please feel free to make me an offer. I'll include some extra unused flints I have for this rifle.
