They usually mention the maker in the online catalog. Guns made by Palmetto include a couple of single shot flint pistols, the Colt Root Pocket Revolver, The Colt Root revolving rifle, the Whitney Revolver, The Dixie walker and Kit (they also sell Uberti walkers), and the Lincoln Derringer and Kit. Palmetto has been in the replica business for decades and apparently has never seen fit to improve their quality standards The single excuse for their existence is that they do produce several historic replicas that are not available elsewhere. This stops being an excuse if you actually want to Shoot the replicas.
Dixie is a good outfit. They ship/deliver products very fast if they have them in stock and are the only source for quite a few things.
I have two scizzor moulds for .36 and .44 conicals and an iron mould for the Walker picket bullet. These are surprisingly accurate when compared to the brass moulds sold for cased set decorators. I have gotten 3.5' groups from a casual 25 yard bench rest with the 36 conical and cannot distinguish the difference from groups with round balls when shooting off-hand. The bullets are heavier and do strike higher on target than round ball loads. They are not particularly useful except for exploring 19th century shooting modalities as a round ball is easier to come by and generally more accurate.
The scizzor moulds produce good bullets but have no sprue plate and you have to filed down the nub on the base. Pain in the profundum
