I have a Dixie Miroku Tennessee mountain rifle. The lock was replaced with the L&R replacement lock. I am not really a fan of the set trigger/double trigger. I would like to know if I can replace it with a single trigger and what would be involved to do this and any recommendations on a trigger if so? Thank you

I had one of the first ones years ago. The set trigger was hideous. As was the lock.
I removed the set trigger and just used it. At 17 years of age I was happy it was better than before.
With the right trigger and plate,it should not be much a project to do.

You don’t have to set the triggers just use the front trigger. If the trigger pull is poor then the lock can be tuned. Much easier than re engineering the rifle.

You can use the same plate. If the front trigger works to suit you, it could be replaced with a longer trigger for a better pull by using the same hole. You might have to slot the plate a little.
