Anyone know what vendors will be there. This will be my first year and I was going to look for a rifle or smoothbore to take home. Won't know what until I hold it and it speaks to me.
Hi Mike C.
There's always plenty of gunbuilders there with their finished pieces for sale. If this is your first visit to the Dixon fair, I'm sure you'll be impressed. Its a great event, and I haven't missed one since I started attendings about 10 or 12 years ago. Enjoy!
Hi Mike - TVM (Matt & Toni Avance), Jim Chambers, and Allen Martin are usually there (to name a just a few). Eric Kettenburg is on the schedule of seminars... I hope he'll have some guns with him (bring a drool bib, just in case!). Have a great time there! :hatsoff:
Thanks for the replies. I'm hoping to find something left handed, just don't know what. I was hoping the event had a good amount of dealers/builders like I see at some traditional archery shoots.
It's nice to have something built but it's just as nice if not better to hold/see it first and also compare to others within the same day before purchasing. I figured this was my chance as I know of nothing else like it on the East Coast and less than 100 miles from my home.
MikeC. Brad Emig from Cabin Creek Muzzleloading will be there, I'm sure. He made my lefty .54 cal. Yorktown rifle, and I couldn't be happier. It is a real shooter.
