Howdy all! Ive got a question.Ive got an old Dixon&Sons brass shot charger head that was found in an old shooting bag.It is marked 1-1/2 and 1-1/4 oz. The leather pouch on it was rotted off...so I sewed a new one on it. This thing sure is handy in the field while squirrel hunting.About what time period did these start being used? My personna is in the 1760-1780 time frame..but I dont think these date that far back. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks again yall...TN

That actual company name, was used by that company from 1833 yntil 1940. Though I am not sure exactly when they were making shot pouches in that time frame.

I have a couple of the antique Lee aluminum adjustable shot measures, ( :rotf: ) the modern ones are all plastic.
