Thunder Ridge has a big selection of sights. Whether any of these would work for you I do not know. I am surprised Muzzleloader Builders Supply did not carry them. Maybe they have to be custom made...

good luck finding them.

You could always plug the screw holes from the factory sights and have a gunsmith cut dovetails for primitive front and rear sights. May even cut the dovetail through the screw holes.

Roundball,

Track carries the semi-buckhorn style that lines up to the screw holes of the factory rear sight. At least it's listed on their website. I have a set and have never mounted them on the .50 cal barrel because I have the primitive partridge style sight on that barrel. Track used to carry the partridge style back in 2003...a call to them might net you one that is still in stock, if that's the style you're looking for.

Thanks...FYI...I actually ordered the semi-buckhorn type from TOW that were supposed to "drop-on" the Hawken/Renegade.
Discovered they have to be finished, blued, etc...not even going to fool with them...so I'm beating the bushes looking for a set of TC's which were made for the Hawken/Renegade, and are finished & blued.

Open, fixed rear sight? Track of the Wolf had them last time I looked. Try them.

Kind of ironic...just a year ago I gave you a set of TC primitive sights just for the postage, never figured I'd use them.
Probably wont cut a dovetail...I've seen a TC barrel with the dovetail cut and then the screw holes exposed, didn't like it

Thanks, I checked them, no drop in rear sights using the existing TC screw holes

I wouldn't cut a dovetail into any T?C barrel. They will most likely terminate the warrenty if you were to do this. And you know better than anyone I know how good thier warrenty is.

I might have a line on a set I saw at a shop a few weeks ago. I'll check next week when I'm out and about.

I know for certain they are the fixed non adjustable, I'm just not 100% sure they are for the Hawken. I think so.

If they are would you like me to pick them and then send to you for the actual costs and shipping?

TOTW shows 2 TC fixed sights, the one discussed above & RS-TC-907. Had one of these once, came finished in a matte black. Reason for the slots for the screws is that not all TCs have the same screw spacings for their sights; my Renegade has less distance between holes than the 2 or 3 "Hawkens" I've worked on.

Bought the sight so I could shoot in a primitive event, but it looked horrible. Got home & made my own; actually have made four sets of sights for TCs. I do like the fixed Renegade sight shown in the TOTW catalog, & for $16.50 it ain't worth carving out hind sights anymore.

Bit off track, but someone mentioned warrenty. Two years ago the tumbler broke on my old (1960's) TC lock. Sent the lock to TC, & it came back w/ a new tumbler, no cost but mailing.

not all TCs have the same screw spacings for their sights;

I've had a couple of the very early style Hawken barrels with early style rear sights...those holes were closer together than barrels & sights of the past 10-20 years.

Agree, TC's lifetime warranty is second to none.

...TC brand "primitive sights" for their TC Hawken / Renegade muzzleloaders?

lonewolf5347 gets the brass ring...put me onto D&R Sports who has them in stock...thanks LW !
