Just picked it up as part of a lot, no markings anywhere.
Went though pages of photos on the webz, no matches at all.

Test cast to check diameter and weight .
Round ball .454 135 grain
Bullet .454 196 grain

Looks like what the Italian makers used to enclose with their cased pistols. Somebody just added a wooden handle to one side.
 
Looks like a typical foreign mold.

You could remove the sprue cutter screw and check for metric threads to verify if foreign.

Various companies have made these molds for sale here.

Do not remember who in the USA may have made these or if anyone in the USA did.

There's about 8 or 10 of these listed on gunbroker all shiny & brand new.
 
Yup, and now that it's been pointed out I see that the wood handle on mine is a very well done aftermarket upgrade.

I'm guessing on a heavy casting session that brass might get a little warm & that handle made it a little easier to 'handle'.
