I will keep that in mind! Ouch.I managed to pull the end off my cleaning rod when a patch got stuck at the bottom of my muzzle loading shotgun. Nothing I tried would get it out. As a last resort I took it to the range, refitted the wooden rod into the stuck end, removed the nipple and filled the hole with a .22 case of 3f powder then refitted the nipple.
Upon firing the ramrod flew about 100 yards, unfortunately it snapped as well but you can't have everything.
Even very small amounts of powder can do much more than you expect.
I wasn't shooting at a squirrel there. I was just wanting to see how much penetration I would get.So, where is the squirrel?
The Squirrel learned the difference between cover and concealment. So, where is the squirrel?
