It happens occasionally that a buck in rut attacks someone, but this one is not at all aggressive, never really attacked. Pushing against the guy with almost no force, biting and pulling on his safety vest can't be called an attack. A very mellow deer.

Located a couple stills from the video. The buck spend almost 5 minutes rubbing and pushing against him making all the soft grunts, woofs and chirps they're capable of making. He's spent most of the time whispering "go away"..."stop it".

The guy's crazy to put up with that, tame deer or not the buck could have killed him with one quick thrust. If the guy didn't want to shoot it he could have fired his gun in the air to run it off. An aggressive buck is very dangerous.
