Thanks loyalist dawg  :hmm:

Hey Loyal,

If the gun is a Pedersoli, try

L Dawg,
It seems to me, and I could be wrong, that it was Navy Arms that made a double .58 rifled gun. If you could locate a used one in good shape, or if they still make them, a new one, then you would have two guns nearly identical. It might serve the same purpose. The gun was called the Kodiak. Was that the brand name or only the model name?
God bless.

Mr. Volatpluvia,
The Kodiaks we have seen up here (other than the Bears) were made by Pedersoli. Do you happen to know if the Navy Arms version was made by them (Pedersoli) or someone else?
Best Wishes

Windwalker,
The kodiaks I saw advertised were a while back and I am working from memory here. So I humbly apologize for adding more confusion than information.
God bless.

The Kodiak guns were indeed a Pedersoli product, first imported by Mike Powosnik of Trail Guns Armory in Houston. Through the years they've been imported by other retailers, including Cabelas. Barrel combos were usually double 50's, 54's and 58's but combo sets of 54 X 12 guage and 58 X 10 guage have been made. More recently, a double 72 has been made that now has two completely adjustable rear sights that should make sighting both barrels much easier. I don't know if these barrel sets are drop-in compatable with the double shotguns. A note to Pedersoli's site might be useful. Good luck.

Mr. Volatpluvia,
No apology necessary. Your train of thought was right on track, imho. Was just curious if someone besides Pedersoli made them. We always appreciate your insights.
Best Wishes
