Double barrel 44

I have a Cosair 44 double barrel pistol that one lock that needs replaced.It has a lock but is to strong and hard to pull back and will not lock.Any place known to have the locks?

Your pistol sounds like one of the old Italian reproductions with a back action lock. Getting spare parts will probably be tough but sometimes they can be found on e-bay or on of the auction sites. Good luck.

Google "corsair 44", theres some info that might help!

 

Before you go replacing the locks, try replacing the springs. Dixie Gun Works or Track of the Wolf may have what you need.

One good aspect to having double locks is that since there are 2 of them, the good lock can be used to have a replacement part made, if that becomes necessary to fix it.
