Recently put together this version of a double haversack or possible bag of canvas lined with pillow ticking. Finished size is 11" wide by 12" high. Tried a little first attempt embroidery on the flap.
You made one glaring mistake. You embroidered a "C" on it, not a "T". As it is now, you can't very comfortably give it to me as a Christmas gift with the wrong initial on it. Other than that, I'd say it really shines!
At some point you may want to add an additional set of buttons higher up on the bag, so you can button it closed if you are carrying a bulky load.
