I'm working on a couple of drinking horns. I have the wooden plug installed but was wondering what is the best thing to seal the inside of the horn with. Any help would be appreciated.

I believe most use beeswax. That's what is in the
rum horn I had made. Works fine...
snake-eyes :hmm:

. Some folks use "Brewers Pitch", I prefere bees wax. I read somewhere that brewers pitch contained carcinigens (? spelling)
IMHO Soggy

I've never used it, but this stuff has been recommended to me by other crafters:

It is available at ACE Hardware in this part of the country.

To avoid any health concerns posed by the hardners resins like this use, it is important to make sure they are completely cured before using them for eating or drinking.

Devcon 2 ton, clear. I painted it in with a flux brush and ran a coating up the bottom sides for maybe a quarter inch. The counter guy at Woodcraft suggested that to me when I was looking for a heat resistant sealer for my cup. Works great.

Thanks once again for every ones input.
I guess I'm in for a trip to the hardware store to see what I can find.
