well this stuff is the beans !
I read about it on here and tried it today,
Took my murphys oil soap concoction and soaked the patches, dried overnite, shot today.
best groups so far with my GPR. Any one who hasnt tried this, really should, it beats the hek out of a messy patch.
Also I went to just using one wet patch between shots.
my 50 yard group was one hole consistently.using 80 FFG, PRB denim patch. :D

Harpman.. are you talking about moosemilk, or just put murphy's oil soap on some patches. I shoot with moosemilk patches and could not agree more with you. Excellent patches and accuracy...

I kinda ran out of the moose milk ingredients , But I am close with what I have, murphys, water, castor oil, alcohol

Harpman if you are usin dry patches the material must be less than .015" I couldn't ram a dry lube patch once I don't think. I've always used Moose's Milk, and sometimes soaked um in a tin over nite but the were still wet when i used um. I also use T/C Bore Butter mostly on .58 Minis or BP revs.

I just checked, my ticking, with a little firm pressure on the mic. comes to .018, the denim came to 023 same pressure, they seem to go in okay as dry lube. one good whack with the starter, then the rod. I tired over the course of a year, from 010 up to the 023 and using 530-535 balls, they all done o so so, except for this last combo really nails it every time.
