This beautifully made German plane has seen almost zero use and is in as-new condition. European beech handle and hornbeam sole, made the way planes have been made in Europe for centuries. I bought it intending to duplicate 18th and 19th century furniture, as the scrub plane was used to flatten high spots before final smooth planing, and scrub plane marks can be diagnostic of the authenticity of wooden items made up to and after the Civil War. Asking $80 shipped.
(Small wasp in third photo not included. He had "cats to kill and contracts to fill," as the line goes from "Sometimes a Great Notion." )

I'll take it. PM me how you want to handle payment. Leaving to go out for dinner right now, so it'll be several hours before I could respond to any message. Thanks.
