NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. donated all the money he recieved for most popular driver of the year , the sum of $10,000.00 , to The Animal Adoption League and Lake Norman Lucky Cats. The Animal Adoption League is affiliated with
ASPCA which is one huge anti gun activist front. as well as being associated with also PETA. another anti gun group.

I e-mailed Remmington Arms (since they sponsor D.E.I )
Asking why they were giveing money to Dale Earnhardt Inc.
when Dale Earnhardt Jr. donated money to these anti gun fronts. and that if they didn't cancel their sponsorship with D.E.I. that I would be forced to no longer buy any of their products.
Need less to say I have not recieved a responce and sent them another e mail and see if they respond.
The more e-mail they get the better till they explain their involment with D.E.I and correct it.
Hope more will follow in this fight.

Are you sure the ASPCA is anti-gun? I know the Humane Society and PETA are anti-hunting, but I've always thought the ASPCA was just all about real animal cruelty... you know, people starving and neglecting their pets and such. I've never heard of the ASPCA dressing up and protesting hunting or guns or making formal statements about guns and hunting like I have the Humane Society and PETA.

If Junior donated money to these organizations, you can be pretty sure he did it not knowing they were anti-gun (if they are). His daddy was, of course, a major outdoor sportsman. Of course, I would highly doubt if he were anti-gun and anti-hunting he would allow Remington of all companies to sponsor him in NASCAR.

Heck, DEI is only about 20 minutes from here... you want me to drive over there and ask him about it? You reckon they'd let me in the place?

staticdood i am sorry you are right it was The American Humane Society that they are accociated with. Not ASCPA as I first stated. I went back to the website to see. You are correct my mistake.

Also this is about Remmington sponsoring someone with money made from gun owners , that gave money to anti gun activists.

Oh, no problem... and now that I know this, I will do some e-mailing. He oughta know better than that, or else he just didn't think about it.

Do you have a reference to proof he actually gave them this money?

I have done some more research into this and it seems his sister is his business manager, and she had alot to do with it also. I bet his farther is doing sumersault ( God bles his soul).
None the less why donate to someone who belongs to an anti- gun activist front , while recieveing monies from a gun maker as a sponsor.
And therefor if Remmington Arms is going to condone it then remmington needs to be boycott :imo:

I got a little lost I guess. Do you mean that the Animal Adoption League is affilated with HSUS?
The HSUS is anti-hunting and Remington should be upset if Jr. supports them. If the money is going to ASPCA for anti-cruelty, (I don't believe they are taking an official, or at least active stance about anti-hunting) I can't argue with that.

The Annimal Adoption League is affiliated with The American Humane Society , which is anti gun .

I read Dale JR.s book. I no longer have any use for him!
Old Charlie

Why is that? What did he say in his book?

Enquiring minds want to know... ::

Yes, being a Junior fan (maybe an ex-Junior fan soon),I would really like to know what is in the book too...I was a big fan of Dale Sr, and watched many hunting and fishing shows with him as the hunter/fisherman. I guess I never thought of Jr. as anything but like his dad....

Well me being from Alabama and proud of my Southern heritage. When he said in his book that there was no place left on the earth for a confederate flag. And He did not give a dam about our heritage and if it ****** off the red necks he did not give a dam in my opinion the wrong Earnheart hit the wall.

Sounds like instaed of boycoting Remington, people should be boycoting Jr. Sounds like the boy forgot his roots.

Sounds like he was "bought out" to me. There will always be a place for the confederate flag. It's part of our heritage and part of history. I have one flying in the garage, and it'll STAY THERE

This thread is about REMMINGTON continueing to toss monies made from GUN BUYers to someone who donated monies to an ANTI GUN group.
I am just trying to get as many who have the time to let REMMINGTON know that you disagree with this BS and that if they are going to condone such BS then let them know you WILL NOT continue to buy their products.
Quickest way to the largest corps. in the world is through their wallets.

Woody

I no longer am a Jr fan either but we must stop as a collective bunch to put an end to such BS. IMO
