here my latest. thought ya'll might like to have a look. this one makes my fourth horn. don't know if i like the way the rings turned out. enjoy!

The rings...I can get by those. The Eagle...I dont know about........THE RIGHT WORDS! outstanding, excellent,a tribute to our national bird, pretty, damn, good....

I like eagles on horns. my first and only got an eagle first thing. I like your :hatsoff: :thumbsup: bird!
 
Nothing wrong with that horn. Good job! I did an eagle for my first scrimshaw horn (a Tim Tansel type), nothing like jumping right into the fire. :rotf:
I'm impressed with your eagle, looks good.

Very nice horn.How did you keep the colors seperated on the rings? It looks real nice.
 
thanx fellows! i'm still thinking about redoing the rings. i forgot to add that i secured the plug using honey locust thorns. i also didn't have to dye the end of the horn as the black color came through as i was filing the horn down to the panels.
