Here’s an early Pedersoli 2nd Short Land Pattern Brown Bess from around the mid 70’s US Bicentennial Era. This is a complete totally functional musket with only minor dents and dings, needing only to have the stock refinished to the correct darker tone. The barrel and brass furniture have a nice aged patina. Supposedly these early Pedersoli Besses are closer to originals, making a more period correct musket when done right. It has the somewhat rare lock marked “Stowe 1776”, which is still no more correct than their “Grice 1762”. Neither is correct for what is essentially a reproduction 1769 model. I acquired this from Gunbroker this past summer, intending to have it defarbed by a knowledgeable talented builder friend of mine. Both his plans and my priorities have now changed, and I’m only looking to recoup my investment. I’ll accept the first “I’ll take it” for $895, which will include shipping anywhere within the US legal to do so. I accept either PayPal (F&F only) or a USPS money order. Shipping will be by US priority mail as soon as funds are received. I’m not looking for any trades at this time, thanks for looking...
