Had a quadruple almost 6 years ago...lucky to be alive today...never would have learned about Flintlocks if I had gone to the big deer woods in the sky back then.

I stopped taking the narcotics when I got home, made me feel too weird...ate Ibuprophen instead...I felt like I had survived being hit by a cement truck.

2nd or 3rd day home the overall discomfort from all the body trauma was so great I told me Wife if I ever needed another bypass I'd die first...but by the 5th day home I began to realize it was not getting any worse, and I began coming back uphill pretty quickly.

Week 3 (Christmas) I walked into the woods with my Son and sat beside him while he shot his first deer...was back at work in 28 days.

Lucky to be alive...and I'd do it again in a minute if it would buy my another 5 years...good luck to you.

DON'T LIFT ANYTHING OR OPEN ANY DOORS, YOU'LL PULL THAT STERNUM RIGHT BACK APART!

Yeowch. Quintuple bypass.

You take care.
Don't think of it as ending the season early;
think of it as getting an early start on prep
for next year.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Good friend of mine had a double bypass a few months back. He says he feels better now than he has in years, so hang in there and it will only get better.

Mr. Hoyt,
My hunting partner had five bypasses and if his experience is one to judge things by, you will be back in the woods come Feb. Hang in there! And a speedy recovery!
Best Wishes
