Just wanted to introduce myself and say how much I like this site!

I live here in East Texas, just outside of Lufkin and surrounded by 140,000 acres of Davy Crockett National Forest, a woods runners dream. We have a long deer season and can chase the hogs year round.

I'm retired from the Navy, 1981-2004, was an Aviation Structural Mechanic Chief. I now teach at an Alternative High School for at risk kids, love my job, especially the summers off.

I bought my first muzzleloader in 1981, a DGW .32 Tn Squirrel Rifle, still have and hunt with. I will be traveling to The NMLRA shoot in June in search of good times, new friends and a .62 flintlock smooth bore fowler.

Look forward to meeting and getting to know you guys and gals, hopefully I can contribute to the vast amount of knowledge found here.

Welcome to the gang. Sounds like you've got a start in our favorite past time...you can also check the "classified" section here for .62 caliber toys from time to time. Ask any questions you may have, there's a lot of experience and willingness to help here!
