The Eastern PA Long Rifle Show has a new date and a new location this this year. The show is in York PA at the Wyndam Garden on November 11 and 12th. The Kentucky Rifle Foundation is sponsoring a display of signed York & Adams County rifles. This is a great show! If you have never been to one, you are missing out on the opportunity to see some really nice original rifles. The show is open to the public. Hope to see you there.

Bringing this one back to the top this week as a reminder. There are going to be some nice rifles on display at the show this year.

Attended the show today. Good number of tables showing antique and some contemporary guns and accoutrements. If you're in the area and attending other events, you should consider adding this to your calendar for September next year.

A couple photos of two interesting percussion guns. One an over-under mule ear locked gun. Probably both barrels in 40-ish cal. A further oddity the gun had 2 ramrods...I'm guessing just for aesthetics.

And a percussion gun with a single barrel but an extra beefy breech with 2 percussion nipples in line. Looks like they would be struck together, maybe to ensure ignition on a heavy charge?
