Does anyone know if there are any kits out there for the English style halfstock smoothbores. Most of the smoothbore kits I have found are Trade Guns, and Barn Guns. I would like something that is well balanced not excessively long and around 20 Gauge. I have put together a few percussion kits in the past and am getting interested in flint smoothbores. Also a lot of stocks I have seen have a lot of drop, which I dont favor. If there aren't any kits, which there probably aren't, is there any good literature to get on building an Engish style halfstock. Any information appreciated.

This one is available with a 30" barrel, so I assume that the full stock is just shortened to whatever barrel you order. You could make a halfstock pretty easily, I assume.

Bob Dunlap is soon to be coming out with an english halfstock kit based on an original in his collection.
