Friends, our 2nd Amendment rights are always under attack and the NRA has been a constant for decades in helping fight that fight.
We have partnered with the NRA to offer you a discount on membership and Muzzleloading Forum gets a small percentage too of each membership, so you are supporting both the NRA and us.
justmike,
I would say if there were a problem it would
be on your end. To my knowledge we have no problem
shipping gun parts here in the U.S.

If it's a muzzle loader component all they have to do is ship it and declare it for what it is, leaving UK customs to sort it out.
Theoretically, pressure components (the barrel) would be held by customs until you produced documentation to show you could legally own it, everything else is not a problem.
OTOH last time I imported a barrel they just delivered it no questions asked.
Global priority mail is more expensive but less likely to attract tax and duty or get stuck in an overworked international mail sorting depot.
If you're importing hand guns and the sender is convinced you aren't allowed to own one, call the DTi and ask for an import licence. Last time I was importing a pistol they wrote me a letter saying no import licence was required. An official looking document that persuaded the seller to ship.
It really isn't a problem, I even managed to get a gun shipped UPS a couple of months ago but they were obliged to charge me 5% Eurotax (special rate for antiques so always get "antique" on the customs declaration if it is). Global express is best so long as it is inside the length restriction, see www.usps.com for details.
