17th annual French Broad Rifles Fall Primitive Weekend is being held this year October 7-9. Located near Asheville NC in the scenic mountains of western North Carolina. Campers may show up Thursday afternoon to claim a spot. Shooting schedule starts Friday, practice allowed Thursday afternoon. We feature a 20 station woods-walk that meanders up a mountain valley, a Seneca run, novelty targets, Hawk and knife throwing, fire-starting and a cookout Saturday evening. Always a great time in a beautiful setting. Daily entry fun targets with prizes. See www.frenchbroadrifles for more details or PM me here.

It is a Timed course with multiple stations shot from the bag.. Ours is set up along an approximate 250 yard up and back course. The first target is at the end of a 125 yard run/walk. 5 animal target stations. Best Target score wins, must come in under 10 minutes. In the event of a tie, the time is considered for tie-breaker. If something can go wrong, it goes wrong here. Misfires, dry balls, broken ramrods, dropped equipment, thrown shoes, all kind of excitement and of course all the spectators yelling at you that you're running out of time!

Just two weeks away now, looks to be shaping up nicely. We will be drawing for our raffle rifle at this event so if you want tickets act now. See our website for ticket information in addition to detailed pictures. www.frenchbroadrifles.com
