@Smokey Plainsman, hope to see you at the Hawken Classic or Fort de Chartres.

Yes!! I am stuck here in Nevada thanks to Uncle Sam, but he will soon send me to Mo. near my place of birth. I am enthralled to be close to my family as well as a place much richer in muzzleloading culture.

I have made many friends here and seen lands of great beauty, but pine for the forest and streams of the midwest!

Got an email to this effect a few days ago. All the powder houses are in stock for the moment. Sadly it would cost more in gas and take a Smokey and The Bandit type run for me to actually drive to any of them from Alabama.

I ordered 5# of 3F from Graf's the other day. They had it but said with the large numbers of orders it might take a while to ship. Grafs is in the powder business at this time.

Just for grins I ordered 4 pounds of Swiss 3f from Powder Valley last week. Today at 11:34 AM FedEx tried to deliver it to my house(sig required). FedEx, already the worst delivery service in these United States, tried to deliver a Sig Req package to a house at 11:34AM on a Sunday in rural Alabama. Gotta give them credit for being early as I ordered this last Tuesday. But you try to deliver a package that needs a signature during the time you know that almost everyone in this state will be at the Sunday meeting? I reckon that logistical systems don't account for religious adherence. I can only assume it was not the usual FedEx driver for my town as he usually calls or texts and asks if I want him to leave it anyway, without a signature. Still, I do have to, again, give credit for it making it here in five days. Last powder order took almost two weeks to ship and about a week to get here.
