Same ol' dumb metallurgical question - of what steel grade did you make this barrel?

Steel seamless pipe welded end encased in cast iron. Hern iron Works. Wheel from Amish community in Pa. I did NOT build the hickory wheels

I fabricated everything but the cap squares tube and wheels. Everything else I made. The screw is acme 3/4” 6 tpi handle is hickory. Drilled 1/4” hole through screw the drilled through the handles. J b weld All together

Those are 2.9" made for a 3" bore.

Dismount, at least our wives say yes to a cannon even if it has to be outdoors. I think most wives wouldn't allow a cannon anywhere on the property. I think if it was 1/4 size or smaller I might be able to put it inside. Maybe 2ft long by 1or1 1/2ft high.
