Pistol functions properly, drop hammer works as it should. Appears to be used very little or maybe not used at all. Fit and finish of this gun is amazing, you can stare at it for hours and still find new patters in the engraving. Wood and checkering is fantastic, no chips or cracks, small stress marks on the barrel otherwise is excellent
William Green's premises were in Leicester Square between 1838 and 1855. No. 4 Leicester Square was a Gun Repository, and No. 6 (Savile House) was a Shooting Gallery 'brilliantly illuminated with gas', available also for fencing, archery, gymnastics and pool. Edward Oxford practiced there before his attempted assassination of Queen Victoria in 1840.
