started mine last night, finished it this morning, the horn is a tex steer, hand polished, look like some one was going to make a bugle out of it, still can. any way just had to make the but plug, and the spout plug, but plug is made out of pine,spout plug is oak, they are stained with, minwax, used bees wax as sealer, looks like it could hold 2 too 3 lb's. 1/2 lb is all i would ever need, for a year any way. ps. spout is silver i think, not for sure.
