I bought these 2 sealed tims of Fiocchi #11 caps at a gun show on Saturday.
The seller said that they were 1970's - 1980's vintage and provide good ignition.
Does anyone recall ever trying them out?

I have had 3-4 tins over the past few years I got in trades and such. Used them when I had newby's out to shoot and accuraccy wasnt an issue.
They went BANG every time! never failed to launch the loads from any of my guns.

but when it comes to my scores or trailwalk....I use my regular cap/load combo.
The fiocchi's I have had, All went off fine!

I've never used those, but as a side note, Fiocchi's quality is typically on the superior side. They're the Winchester of Europe. Last time I checked they held the NATO contract for all small arms ammunition in Europe.

I used them back when I was getting started in the 70's-80's. They were all I could get in Spain but they made the gun go "boom" everytime. I never had a misfire with them that I can remember.

Never used their caps. But my trap team got a couple cases of their 12 ga for a promo, they sucked. The brass would pull off the plastic in the auto and pump guns. After that perforance I will never buy Fiocchi. But this is my personal opinion.

BUT... there is no plastic to worry about on percussion caps and people who have used them say they go boom.
